Informational/Educational Opportunities
Part of its mission as a local trade association is to provide learning opportunities for its members so they can stay abreast of the latest trends and regulatory changes, as well as discover ways to improve their businesses.
In addition to member forums scheduled throughout the year to address relevant local topics, the association annually offers:
- Practical Apartment Management (PAM) School (March 4-17, 2025): an introduction to property management
- Spring Industry Forecast/Cocktail Reception (March 20, 2025): This program features guest speaker NAHB Chief Economist Robert Deitz. Following the presentation, guests are invited to join us for a cocktail reception featuring light hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
- Virginia Residential Landlord & Tenant Act Update (April 8, 2025): A.J. Johnson will be presenting in 2025 with an online version of his VRLTA program, a not-to-be-missed event for property management professional. His webinar focuses on the legislative updates from the 2025 General Assembly session that go into effect July 1.
