Informational/Educational Opportunities

Part of its mission as a local trade association is to provide learning opportunities for its members so they can stay abreast of the latest trends and regulatory changes, as well as discover ways to improve their businesses.

In addition to member forums scheduled throughout the year to address relevant local topics, the association annually offers:

  • Practical Apartment Management (PAM) School (March 5-18, 2024): an introduction to property management
  • Virginia Residential Landlord & Tenant Act Review & Update (April 4, 2024): a webinar conducted by Richmond attorney John G. "Chip" Dicks
  • Fair Housing webinars: conducted by A.J. Johnson, who is well versed in fair housing law (February 27 and October 3, 2024)
